Cardboard Cat Scratcher Pad, Curved Scratching Board for Indoor Cats | MewMaison
The MewMaison Cardboard Cat Scratcher Pad is a flat corrugated cardboard scratching board with a curved surface, made for indoor cats. It measures 43 x 21 x 3.5 cm, so it fits beside a sofa, under a desk or by a window. Your cat can scratch it, stretch along it and lie down on it. Choose a single pad or a set of 2 or 3.
Why you'll love it
Gives your cat a better place to scratch. Cats scratch to stretch, keep their claws in shape and mark territory. A surface made for scratching takes the pressure off your sofa, carpet and chair legs.
Scratching at every angle. The surface rises and dips along its length, so your cat can scratch the flat parts, the slopes and the raised end.
Scratch, stretch and rest on one pad. Many cats like to scratch while stretched out low and long. The curved shape supports that, and then your cat can settle down on it.
One for every favorite spot. Cats scratch in more than one place. A set of 2 or 3 lets you put a pad beside the sofa, under the desk and near the bed.
Flat and easy to move. Each pad is light enough to move around the home, so you can place it wherever your cat scratches this week.
Risk-free to try. Free 60-day returns. If your cat doesn't use it, send it back.

- Material: corrugated cardboard
- Shape: flat base with a curved surface

How to get your cat to use it
- Place the pad right next to the spot your cat already scratches, such as the arm of the sofa.
- Rub your hand or a toy across the surface so your cat sees the scratching motion.
- Sprinkle a little catnip on the pad if your cat likes it.
- Give it a few days. Cats often ignore something new at first.
Care: Scratching leaves small cardboard crumbs around the pad. This is normal. Vacuum or sweep them up, and replace the pad when the surface is worn flat.
Frequently asked questions
Is a cardboard scratcher good for cats? Yes. Cats like the texture of corrugated cardboard, and it lets them scratch without damaging furniture.
What kind of scratcher is best for a cat that scratches the sofa? Cats that scratch the seat of a sofa or the carpet usually prefer flat or sloped scratchers like this one. Cats that scratch the side of furniture often like vertical posts.
How many scratchers do I need? One pad for each spot where your cat likes to scratch. A set of 2 or 3 works well for several rooms or for homes with more than one cat.
Will it stop my cat scratching the sofa? It gives your cat a better place to scratch, but no scratcher can guarantee it. Put the pad next to the furniture your cat uses and keep it in place while your cat gets used to it.
Can my cat sleep or lie on it? Yes. The curved surface is shaped for stretching and resting as well as scratching.
Is it suitable for kittens? Yes. Kittens can use it too, and starting early helps them learn where it is okay to scratch.
Is it big enough for an adult cat? At 43 cm long it suits most adult cats for scratching and stretching. Very large breeds may use it mainly for scratching.
Does it make a mess? Cardboard leaves small crumbs as your cat scratches. They are easy to vacuum or sweep up.

What products does MewMaison offer?
MewMaison offers a selection of cat essentials, including a cat desk hammock, a wavy corrugated cardboard scratcher, and interactive feather spring toys. Our products are designed to support everyday comfort, scratching, and play.
Is the cat desk hammock suitable for every desk?
Not necessarily. Compatibility depends on your desk's thickness, edge design, available clearance, and the hammock's clamp specifications. Please review the product dimensions and installation instructions before purchasing.
How do I install the cat desk hammock?
Follow the instructions supplied with the product and make sure the clamp is securely attached to a suitable, stable desk edge before allowing your cat to use it. Check the attachment regularly and never exceed the product's stated weight capacity.
What is the cardboard cat scratcher used for?
The scratcher provides a dedicated corrugated cardboard surface for scratching. Depending on your cat's preferences, it may also be used for stretching or lounging. Every cat is different, so use and interest may vary.
Are the interactive feather toys suitable for independent play?
Some cats may enjoy interacting with the toys on their own, but supervision is recommended. Inspect the feathers, springs, bells, connectors, and suction-cup base before use. Remove damaged toys and store them safely when playtime is over.
